The second module I had to complete during my first semester was Visual Design. This consisted of looking into all the skills needed and programs used by professionals who are involved in design. I really enjoyed this module as I had never looked into it in this depth.

The module was covered over 9 weeks. The first 6 weeks consisted of being introduced to different skills and also ensuring that we gained a basic understanding of everything we have covered. Once we reached week 7 we were given an assignment where we had to use the content provided and visually create a magazine, followed by a website and app, and finally, preparing for the launch of the magazine.

I kept a blog to place all of the work I was creating and doing over the 9 week period.

To conclude the module we had to create a portfolio that showcased all the work we had created over the 9 weeks as well as any extra we had completed. Below is a link to my portfolio that was handed in on the 25th November 2016.

Below is part of the work I completed during week 4. This was probably my favourite designing part of the module as I was able to re-design an album cover of my choice.
