Promo Video for Birmingham


As I have just started my second year at university I have begun a Music TV and Promotional Video module. My first set directed study was to shoot a 30 second promotional video that was edited and published on YouTube, it also had to contain music.

For mine I decided that my target audience would be 14 - 19 year olds as the choice of music would be more relatable to them and I feel as though they would be more intrigued in coming to visit Birmingham. The brief was very vague and I was a little bit stuck on where to shoot so I decided to find some memorable places that I knew of and used some panning shots, zoom shots and close-ups to enhance them and make you want to know more.

I feel as though if I had more time I would be able to shoot a better production and improve my camera angles and also my position when taking these shots.
