This semester I am also studying Media Photography Skills. This module focusses on documentary photography and photographs of people. This course will allow me to gain a complete understanding of a camera as well as a lens and other equipment. I will also be learning how to composite a professional image.
For my first couple weeks, I was asked to go out and take some pictures of my own, which I would then later edit using Adobe Photoshop. For this task I decided to go back to London as I wanted to capture some of my friends as well as some nice architecture that I had previously come across.
The locations I used for my photographs were Belsize Park, Piccadilly and Chelsea Square. In Belsize Park I took many photographs of my friends at many different angles. In Piccadilly I photographed some cars and in Chelsea I photographed some modern architecture. Out of the 145 images I took I had to choose 5 of my favourites which I would then edit in photoshop.
Below are the images that I believed were the best after they had been slightly adjusted in Photoshop.
